Former Detroit Lions quarterback Hendon Hooker has signed a deal with the New York Jets which has reunited him with Aaron Glenn.

The Jets have added former Lions QB Hendon Hooker to their practice squad on Monday with Tyrod Taylor, Justin Fields out due to injuries.

The New York Jets brought aboard another option at quarterback on Thursday. The Jets signed defensive lineman Payton Page to the active roster and placed safety Tony Adams on injured reserve, which opened up an opportunity for the club to sign quarterback Hendon Hooker to the practice squad after working out earlier in the morning.

The Pittsburgh Steelers hosted a workout for former Tennessee Volunteers quarterback Hendon Hooker as they evaluate team's quarterback depth.

Former Detroit Lions offensive lineman, and current sideline reporter T.J. Lang pointed out on social media, following the Rams 38-37 defeat to the Seahawks, that Turner was selected 21 picks after Brad Holmes picked quarterback Hendon Hooker with the 68th overall pick that year.
