Ewers was selected in the seventh round by the Dolphins in the 2025 NFL draft. He played his last three college years for the Texas Longhorns. During his final season at Texas, he passed for 3,472 yards, 31 touchdowns, 12 interceptions, and a 65.8 completion percentage.
