NBC revealed the fate of “Suits LA” while also canceling “Night Court,” “The Irrational,” and “Lopez vs. Lopez.” Bader said that the television network made the decisions based on the shows’ performances “both on linear and on digital.”

NBC had to make some big lineup changes due to the return of the NBA to the network, and unfortunately, Suits LA just didn’t make the cut. Jeff Bader, the president of programming strategy, explained the decision during a conference call.

It’s been a tough day at NBC, which needs to make space on the schedule for basketball coverage next season under NBCUniversal’s $2.5B a year deal with the NBA. Suits LA joins dramas The Irrational and Found and comedies Night Court and Lopez vs Lopez, which also just have been axed.
