The Toronto Blue Jays and Pittsburgh Pirates got into an altercation on Monday night stemming from a Tommy Pham walk in the seventh inning.

Tommy Pham was on one Monday night. During the Pittsburgh Pirates' 5-2 win over the Toronto Blue Jays, the veteran outfielder set off a benches-clearing fracas, then decided to attack fans on social media.

Tommy Pham has quickly become public enemy number one amongst Toronto Blue Jays fans, and perhaps even the clubhouse.

Tensions flared between Pirates outfielder Tommy Pham and Blue Jays catcher Tyler Heineman on Monday night at PNC Park, and while the waters quickly calmed after the benches cleared, there was still a mix of confusion and emotion after the game.

On Monday, the Toronto Blue Jays took on the Pittsburgh Pirates in a series that was marked by a heated confrontation between Tommy Pham and Tyler Heineman.

He slapped Giants outfielder Joc Pederson over a disagreement in fantasy football; he was stabbed outside a strip club; and had an altercation with a “disrespectful” fan after being traded from the Mets to the Arizona Diamondbacks in 2023.

So Tommy Pham wasn’t just being an idiot at the game last night, he carried it over to Twitter. I’m sure we’ve all met people like this, ones who think they should be policing everyone who doesn’t stand up to some moral code that they have made up.
