Feb 12, 2023 · It seems most of the news is just annoying football drama. I don't need to see that when I just want to search something with Bing. How do I completely remove Top Headlines, so the app can look neat and tidy without seeing tabloid drama everytime I open Bing? I looked everywhere in settings and couldn't find anything to turn it off. Where is it?

When I go to the Bing homepage (bing.com) on my Chrome browser, I no longer am shown the Bing news scroll bar at the bottom of the page. Where did it go? This problem has persisted for two days and my computer is updated, chrome is up-to-date, etc. I also cannot see the box that provides more information about the Bing daily picture.

Mar 3, 2023 · Turning off the news feed from the start page is currently not possible. However, you can get rid of it with a simple tweak. Go to Settings and change the Open with option to new tab page. New tab pages don’t show the news feed by default, so this setting will hide it on browser launch.

Dec 4, 2015 · I am using Bing Desktop and it works well for searches, desktop backgrounds, and local weather. It's great! I am unable to view any "Top News", "Trending", or "Trending Images" items. All I get is the five swinging dots (the Microsoft brand image) that never resolves. I don't know if this is a Bing issue, a proxy server issue, or a firewall issue.

Nov 30, 2021 · since a few days I noticed that the Bing news feed does scroll to the left once you clicked the next news picture/tile. Furthermore the highlighted news picture/tile was show enlarged as background behind the activated news tile. I did the following so far to remedy the situation but all in vain. a) clear all data via settings-> clear browsing data
