Makoto Uchida (内田 誠, Uchida Makoto, born July 20, 1966)[1] is a Japanese businessman who is the current CEO of the Nissan Motor Corporation. [2] Uchida graduated from Doshisha University in 1991 with a degree in Theology. [3]

Makoto Uchida is president and CEO of Nissan Motor Co., Ltd., also serving as representative executive officer and director. Uchida served in a variety of positions at both Nissan and the Alliance throughout his career.
