The Charles Telfair Institute has long been recognised as the pioneer of private tertiary education in Mauritius. From its humble beginnings in 2001 as a training center in Quatre Bornes, the institute now boasts close to 2,000 students, 150 staff and a state of the art campus in Moka. As such it is by far the largest private tertiary institution in Mauritius. The launch of Curtin Mauritius follows a 14 year partnership between the Charles Telfair Institute and Curtin University.
