It's a Mississippian aged formation that is geologically quite interesting. I find geodes, chalcedony replaced coral fossils and much more in the formation. It's where Missouri, Illinois, and Iowa all meet. Geodes from this locality tend to be clear or milky quartz with some more uncommon exceptions."
