This is a great video of Gerald Guimond explaining to us how the cargo the G3 Marquis is carrying is unloaded! At the time, they were unloading iron ore pellets in Quebec City which I believe they are now done. That type of scoop is called a clam shell so it opens, and snatches up a "mouthful" of the ore... that's the clamp Gerald is referring to... the guy up in the booth controls it all and the big wire he's mentioning is the electrical wire that controls how it closes since it's all hydraulic
