It’s easy to think all birth stories are the picture perfect natural birth and going home right after to begin your new life but I realized that so many complications can happen. I had a whole doula with a birth plan but instead had an emergency c section, had to visit my son in NICU, I was in ICU battling complications, and ended up being there for 3 weeks and having to come back for my son 2 days later.
