Lighthouse Mission's innovative shelter in Bellingham combines housing with job training

After more than a decade in the dark, our lighthouse is finally ready to shine again. After being dormant behind our shelter for years, the lighthouse will shine again 01/01/26. Turning it back on feels like a fitting way to mark both a fresh start for the building and a hopeful start to the year ahead. More than 10 years ago, our building was nicknamed “The Lighthouse” because of this structure. It served as a guiding light to all those who needed a warm meal or a place to stay. We are so happy
