Led in by mounted police, The Royal Highland Fusiliers 2 SCOTS Pipes and Drums, the Band of The Royal Regiment of Scotland and Balaklava Company of 5 SCOTS, marched to The Cross in the centre of Linlithgow. This was part of the 2025 Linlithgow marches, as the Regiment exercising their freedom rights to march through the town. Police Scotland Fife Pipe Band, led by Pipe Major David Wilton, march in starting their Grade 1 bands competition set during the 2024 North of Scotland Pipe Band Championship. The band, who wear Carnegie of Fife tartan, placed 1st in Grade 1 bands during the championship. This great event returns to Banchory on Sunday 11th May 2025, thanks to the efforts of the organisers Banchory District Initiative, in conjunction with the Royal Scottish Pipe band Association - North of Scotland Branch. #Polic
