Disney has a long history of “rotoscoping” or tracing over previous animation frames to reduce production time and costs. A famous example is in Robin Hood (1973), where scenes are directly copied from Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs (1937), The Jungle Book (1967), and The Aristocats (1970). You can see Little John dancing just like Baloo, and Maid Marian waltzing just like Snow White.
