Chaplin shot the scene from The Great Dictator where the barber shaves a customer to Brahms' Hungarian Dance No. 5 to the sound of a recording. For the soundtrack, the conductor and orchestra had to record the piece in perfect synch to the edited scene. Amazingly, it only took one take for the new recording to fit the action perfectly.
