My kiddos asked me recently, but why do the girl goats have beards? It's not known for sure why goats have beards but here at HHF, we have a lot of beautiful bearded ladies like Snowball here. Beards are more common on male goats, but females can have them; like horns, beards are not necessarily an indicator of a goat's gender.
