Here is a sneak peak of “Reel Injun” by director Neil Diamond (Cree), a FREE screening on Day 3 (Saturday, June 21) at 12:00 PM during the second annual F1RST: A Celebration of Indigenous Film festival at The Vic Theatre. Neil Diamond examines the portrayal of North American Indigenous people throughout a century of cinema. The film is a loving look at cinema through the eyes of the people who appeared in its very first flickering images and have survived to tell their stories in their own way.
