The Gapuwiyak Art and Culture Centre is now open and ready to welcome the community 🎨 This new space is a place to share Yolŋu culture through weaving, painting and sculpture. It’s a home for local artists and a place for young people to learn and stay strong in culture. Gapuwiyak artists have already been recognised across the country, including at the National Indigenous Fashion Awards. Their work has a new home right here on Country.
