Anchorage has finally reached the freezing threshold as temperatures progress near 40 degrees

Here's a look at current radar across Southcentral as we track a strong frontal system now moving up into the region this morning. We've seen quite a bit of snow at higher elevations already across the Kenai Peninsula and across portions of Prince William Sound, but we have seen some mixing with rain close to sea level at times.
