Cherokee spiritual leader Crosslin Smith believed in the old ways and his impact on the people of the Cherokee Nation cannot be understated. Smith, the late grandson of Chief Redbird Smith, was a revered elder and spiritual advisor who often spoke at important events around the reservation and spent his lifetime sharing his wisdom and spiritual teachings. Now through Sept. 14, you can learn more about his life in the exhibit, “Crosslin Smith: The Healer’s Journey,” at the Saline Courthouse Museu
