This beautiful red-tailed hawk was admitted to our wildlife hospital back in June with injuries to her wing and one eye. Thanks to the help of our friend Dr. Noelle La Croix, we were able to get a specialized eye exam, which confirmed that the eye injury was old and unfortunately permanent — she would never regain vision in that eye.Despite that, this hawk spent four months in our care, healing and relearning how to fly and hunt in our outdoor flight aviary.
