After a long day out on the high iron, Norfolk & Western #611 returned to Goshen, VA after its final run of the day. The train eased down the siding as it approached the station area to let off passengers before the train was up for the evening. Such a fantastic experience and here’s hoping to maybe do something like this in the future. It’s been a little while since my last video upload onto my page, so for today I’ll share a recent adventure. Here we see N&W 611 operating out of Goshen, VA over the Buckingham Branch Railroad. These trips ran from Goshen to La Grange on Fridays and Sundays, and Staunton on Saturdays through October. These trips allowed 611 to operate at around 40 mph.
