September 11, 2025. Our Corpus Christi Fire Department 9/11 Memorial Stair Climb: Honoring Heroes, Never Forgetting Sacrifices. Our firefighters climb to remember and honor the fallen 343 firefighters, 60 police officers, 8 paramedics and 2,977 American civilians that lost their lives that Tuesday morning 24 years ago. They climb for the families left behind to continue on without their loved ones and for us all to remember the tragedy of the attack that changed America forever on our own soil.
