In the Amish, they have Ordnung church twice a year, once in the spring and once in the fall. Everything is done very specifically. If someone gets baptised and joins the church, they do it right before Ordnung church. The Amish women have to wear black dresses for the Ordnung church service. People who are not members of the church, including young children, are not allowed to attend the main part of the ordnung church. Most Amish are more concerned about their Ordnung than about Jesus. I've never been in an Amish church service where the preacher was teaching the Gospel, especially not the way it is written in the Bible. It's sad because they do believe in Jesus, but they believe they also have to follow their rules and traditions in order to even have a chance to get to heaven. I wish someone would've taught me the Gospel when I was growing up in the Amish. There is a huge amount of uncertainty and confusion
